現代音楽としての1つの分野、プログラミングを使っての作曲をわかりやすく教えていきます。本授業で使用するのはCycling '74によるプログラミングソフトウェアMax/msp です。近年の音楽のプロダクションで使われる多くのDAW(Ableton/Logic pro)などとは違い、真っ白なキャンバスに、自分で製作した筆で、拾った貝殻を粉砕してできた粉から作った絵の具で絵画の作品を作るように、０の状態からコンピューターを使って音楽を作っていきます。Max/mspは音楽を奏でるドラえもんです。どうやって上手にのび太くんみたいに道具をおねだりできるか学んでいきましょう。そしてこれまでの学校教育では知ることのできなかった音楽の世界に踏み入れましょう。初めの数回はこちらの方でソフトウェアがどういったものなのかという説明をしますので、初回の授業にMax/Mspを用意していただかなくても結構です。
